Yulia Protasova

Yulia Protasova is a Ukrainian composer and pianist based in Barcelona, Spain. She creates music for film, television, video games, and other media. In 2024, she received the SGAE Award for Best Original Soundtrack at the Sitges International Film Festival, and in 2025 she was honored with Best Original Soundtrack awards at both the Festival de Cine de Sorihuela del Guadalimar and Musimagen. She is also a member of the Barcelona Film Composer Collective, where she continues to collaborate on innovative projects.
